While (178) Yemeni students stranded in the Chinese city of Wuhan await the move of the government of interim President Abd Rabu Mansour Hadi to evacuate them from the stricken city, the government directed from its residence in Riyadh the need to conduct medical examinations in Yemen's border ports to prevent the transmission of the viral epidemic

On Tuesday, the medical team of the Seiyun General Hospital Authority began the procedures for precautionary examination of the symptoms of the Corona virus epidemic for travelers arriving in the country through Seiyun International Airport in Hadramout Governorate, southeastern Yemen.

The director general of Seiyun International Airport, "Ali Saeed Bakathir," stressed the safety of all passengers arriving on a Yemeni airline flight from Cairo Airport from the symptoms of the epidemic, noting that the medical staff had examined all 189 passengers and passengers, including the flight crew.

In a press statement, "Bakathir" noted that the airport, the Seiyun General Hospital Authority and all relevant authorities have prepared what is necessary in order to create the conditions and prepare the inspection hall and the itinerary to complete the checks smoothly without any delay for the passengers, in addition to conducting awareness and health education for travelers and citizens.

For his part, the head of the Seiyun General Hospital Authority, Dr. Anis Aideed Taha Aideed, indicated that all necessary tools and equipment and the alternate medical team have been provided to check passengers arriving through the Seiyun International Airport, where an isolation room in the Seiyun General Hospital has been equipped with specialized medical staff, pointing out that no need to be concerned about this and that what is needed is to provide health care and take the necessary precautions.

In context, in Aden, it was announced that the first primary quarantine room and a joint operating room operating around the clock would be established.

The Hadi government had previously requested the World Health Organization - according to press information - to take immediate and urgent measures at the Sanaa International Airport, which is under the control of the Houthi militias, to examine all arrivals at the airport for fear that the epidemic would spread through it because the information about arrivals at the airport did not reach the legitimate government.
