A military escalation on the Hodeidah fronts leaves dozens of Houthis

Dozens of Houthis were killed and injured during violent confrontations in Al-Tahita, south of Hodeidah governorate, during the joint forces' response to an militia attack on Al-Jabilah area, following similar confrontations inside the city of Hodeidah in light of Houthi escalation of military operations and offensive buildups.
A field source said that the joint forces responded to the Houthi attack and engaged in violent clashes with militia militants that lasted for hours, on Monday evening, and used various types of heavy and medium weapons.
The source confirmed that the joint forces inflicted heavy casualties on the militias, as dozens of people were killed and injured.
Private sources in the city of Hodeidah reported that Houthi militias are massing their fighters in the vicinity of the University of Hodeidah

The sources said that Houthi militias transported huge boxes on trucks from the post office believed to be rockets or drones.
The sources indicated that the truck, loaded with missiles, was accompanied by military crews and armed elements as it was heading to Sham line.
Hodeidah, in western Yemen, witnessed violent clashes on Sunday night-Monday, due to an escalation by the Houthi militia.
A military source in the joint forces reported that groups belonging to the Iranian arm militias tried to infiltrate into the liberated residential neighborhoods on the fifty-Sana'a streets and in the vicinity of the control points supervised by the Redeployment Coordination Committee.
The source added that the militias targeted with machineguns and B10 shells the residential neighborhoods among the citizens homes in the two villages of Al-Dhabyani and July 7, as a fiery cover for their elements infiltrated by the coastal defense camp and City Max.
The source confirmed that units of the Republic’s guards quickly resolved the clashes, with most of the militia infiltrators falling between a dead person, a wounded man, and the rest of the flee.
In the east of the city, at the Kilo 16 front and Al-Saleh, units of the Giants brigades responded to the sources of militia fire behind the College of Engineering, achieving direct hits in new locations.
