On Sunday, the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, stormed the home of Yemen's ambassador to Jordan, Ali Al-Amrani, in the capital, Sana'a, which is under its control.

The storming of Al-Amrani's house comes as part of a new campaign targeting the homes of many anti-Houthi militia figures, including the house of former Prime Minister Dr. Ali Muhammad Mujawar in the Al-Nahdha district of the capital, Sanaa.

The Ambassador Al-Amrani said in his tweets on his Twitter account: "The Houthis have chosen today 2/22020 (Sunday) to storm my house in Sanaa ... an unforgettable date."

He added: "We are not surprised by the extremist invaders who came from the caves of history and geography to storm the country's capital and strike its social cohesion and cause an unprecedented historical disaster for Yemen."

He pointed out that the Houthis had previously stormed his home when they entered Sanaa in September 2014.
