On Monday morning, a soldier mourned after his death in a traffic accident in a tragic accident that reminds of hundreds of incidents caused by the military crews in Mocha.
The body of Nawaf Jamil Qouh was buried in the cemetery of the martyrs after his death, on Saturday, in a runaway accident when he was performing his national duty at one of the checkpoints at the entrance to the city.
A local source said that a military crew was traveling at a crazy speed, run over Nawaf during his night shift, and then surrendered to the police forces.
This incident comes amid dozens of accidents caused by the speed of the military crews, which led to the death of a number of people, including children.
The people of Mocha condemned the incident and demanded in a complaint petition submitted to the director of the directorate to put an end to traffic accidents resulting from the speed of the military crews.
They also asked the director of Mocha Directorate to address the camp leaders to stop the work of all drivers without driver licenses.
Traffic accidents caused by excessive speed for military crew drivers are frequent, leaving many dead since the city's liberation in March 2017.
