On Monday, the spokesperson for the National Resistance Forces, Brigadier General Sadiq Dowaid, considered the United Nations call to move to consultations for a comprehensive solution in Yemen, such as "escaping from admitting a year of failure and condoning Houthi's obstruction of the implementation of the Stockholm Agreement."
"International calls to move to consultations for a comprehensive solution in Yemen represent an escape from acknowledging a year of failure and condoning Houthi's obstruction of the Stockholm agreement," Brigadier-General Dwaid said on his Twitter account.
He added: "Unless the period of implementation of the agreement is evaluated and the obstructed party is determined, there is no point in repeating the failure scenario.
A spokesman for the "Republican Guard" concluded: "The Yemeni people yearn for peace, and they should not lose faith in the international effort."
