Governmental report: 50 AIDS cases in Marib

The Public Health and Population Office in Marib, eastern Yemen, revealed dozens of HIV / AIDS cases during the year 2019.
According to a report issued by the health office, the number of people living with HIV / AIDS in Marib reached 50 during the past year.
And last month, the director of the health office in Marib announced that two members of the legality-affiliated army had contracted HIV / AIDS amid great secrecy.
In mid-2018, the United Nations warned about the spread of HIV infection in Yemen, after statistics prepared by an international program showed a sharp rise in HIV infection rates.
