Houthi militia pushed hundreds of fighters into Hodeidah

On Tuesday, al-Houthi militia pushed hundreds of militants with military equipment into the Drehimi directorate, with a large military escalation involving the hodeidah and west coast directorates, with a similar build-up towards Theta, accompanied by shelling and targeting of artillery and various weapons.
Joint forces positions south and east of al-Darhimi directorate, on the southern outskirts of the western Yemeni city of Hodeidah, are under renewed bombardment with artillery and heavy weapons, while Houthi militias have moved large military reinforcements on the outskirts of the directorate for a new round of escalation.
Military sources on the ground said that the militias mobilized hundreds of elements of their armed men, on board military vehicles, armed with various types of weapons, and pushed them towards the eastern outskirts of al-Darhimi directorate since the early hours of Tuesday morning.
The crowd coincided with large-scale shelling and targeting on joint forces positions south and east of the directorate with 120-caliber heavy mortar and 82-caliber mortar shells, she said.
The militias heavily opened heavy weapons and medium machine gun fire on the joint positions in the Directorate.
