Speaker of the Parliament, Sultan Al-Barakani, affirmed that "Iran's political system, with its ambitions and illusions, has created terrifying hell in Yemen, as well as in other neighboring countries."
Al-Barakani called - in his speech at the opening of the 12th plenary session of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly - the Asian Parliamentary Assembly to stand responsibly towards the Yemeni people and their human tragedies caused by the war that was sparked by the Houthi militia years ago and work for the implementation of international resolutions, especially Resolution No. (2216).
He added that legitimacy offered peace to the Houthi militia and went to negotiate and made concessions despite their coup against the republic and democracy, the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference, the Gulf initiative, its executive mechanism, and UN resolutions, and their appropriation of state institutions, but they did not respond and the war continues to be a stormy cycle with the insistence of them and with the support of Iran
The Speaker of Parliament assured that the Yemeni people will overcome their plight and contribute from the position of faith and challenge to making peace in Yemen and in our surroundings as much as they can, but with more determination and unrelenting determination, according to the official news agency Saba.
