Brigadier Tariq directs to arrange fishing activity off Mocha to prevent breakouts

Brigadier General Tariq Saleh, the leader of the national resistance, stressed that sea and coastal security are subject to improving the relationship between the army, security and the fisherman, stressing that the fisherman is the primary stakeholder of stability and security in his area, against any acts of sabotage or targeting.
Brigadier General Tariq Saleh, during his meeting with the delegation of the Fishermen Association, in Mocha, expressed the readiness of the national resistance to provide all possible support to the fishermen to solve their problems and arrange their needs.
The meeting, which was attended by the Commander of the Coast Guard, Brigadier Abdul-Jabbar Al-Zahzouh, discussed the problems of fishermen and opportunities to develop fishing on the West Coast.
The head of the Fishermen’s Association in Mocha Hashem Al-Rifai explained the problems and sufferings created by the circumstances of the war, the security arrangements in Mocha Coast, and the proposals of the fishermen to address them.
Brigadier Tariq Saleh promised to work to restore the activity of sea fishing in the beaches of Mocha, in coordination with maritime security so that this does not lead to any aggressive penetration against Mocha, as this targeting will harm the fisherman, his city and his family primarily.
With regard to the fish landing center, Brigadier Tariq instructed to activate the activities of the center that the Emirati Red Crescent rehabilitated, and instructed to build another fish landing center if the existing center was not in a safe area.
He also directed the formation of a coast guard and fishermen committee to address any imbalances that hinder their work, such as granting free work licenses to ensure security responsibility, or oversight and assistance to the fisherman if he is exposed to any risks at sea.
The meeting touched on the problem of marine fishing by fishing vessels, where the leader of the national resistance stressed the prevention of unlicensed fishing, as well as the dredging of the fish revolution in the Yemeni territorial waters.
