Local residents said that the Civil Defense teams, affiliated with the Khalifa Humanitarian Foundation, are carrying out evacuations of families stranded and trapped in the cyclone's water, especially in the "Hadibo" directorate.

A number of helicopters are participating in the rescue and evacuation operations, as well as medical and quartering teams operating on the ground.

A video clip of helicopters affiliated with the Khalifa Foundation for Humanitarian Affairs appears as it participates in carrying out rescue operations for stranded residents to safe areas, as well as evacuating the injured to hospitals for treatment.

Meanwhile, the technical teams began to open the roads, after the collapse of the main and branch road networks on the island, due to the storm.

Through its technical teams in the field, Khalifa Humanitarian Foundation worked to avoid hurricane damage on the electrical network, and to prevent the system from a total shut down.

The "Hadibo" directorate, the administrative center of the Socotra Archipelago, witnessed a massive displacement of the population due to the collapse of a number of houses and the interruption of the transportation network due to the large flooding and heavy rains.

Local residents reported that torrential torrents, in huge quantities, swept the Hadiboh valleys in Socotra, which is currently experiencing a hurricane, and described it as "the strongest hurricanes" that passed on the archipelago.
