Unknown gunman shoots, kills brother of head of Islah in Hadramout

An unknown gunman assassinated Sunday Jamil Batays , a brother of Salah Batays, a head of Islah Party in Hadramout province, southeastern Yemen
A local source told NewsYemen an unidentified gunman riding a motorcycle shot and killed Batays in al-Khattab neighborhood in Sayoun city while he was in his car
He pointed out that the security forces arrived at the scene after the assassination and transferred the body of Batays to hospital's refrigerator in Sayoun General Hospital
According to the sources, Jamil Batays had already exchanged fire with gunmen in Hadramout valley
Batays is from al-Qattan city that is witnessing assassinations involving local residents, security and military officials and soldiers of Hadrami Elite forces
