Red Sea Mills ready to resume flour production

The Joint Resistance announced on Wednesday the readiness of the Red Sea mills in Hodeida province, western Yemen, to resume production of flour, after several months of maintenance
A delegation from the World Food Organization (WFP) visited the Red Sea Mills to see the latest maintenance work the plant has undergone in recent months, a statement from the media center said
He said that the international delegation visited the mills after the completion of the initial maintenance and processing to become suitable for the processing of wheat flour, which will be distributed to the citizens in the liberated areas, which are still under the control of the Houthis
According to the statement, the delegation was briefed on the latest maintenance work witnessed by the factory, which has been able to produce and distribute flour, which will begin the distribution process in the coming days according to the lists of the organization, and will be directly supervised the distribution process
Red Sea Mills include WFP warehouses and contain large amounts of grain to feed 3.7 million people for a month, located near the the contact lines in al-Hodeida city
