Recent economic studies have confirmed that humanitarian aid has not stopped the need of the poor in Yemen, and that its role does not exceed "tranquilizers" as the number of people in need grow.
Many citizens resort to selling their property to provide bread for living, while reducing consumption for essential needs, despite aid.
It is reported that about 20 million Yemenis suffer from food shortages and 5 million suffer from starvation, and recommends that Yemen needs support for the economy and small enterprises, similar to the steps of the UAE Red Crescent, to ensure the survival of citizens.
NewsYemen channel on YouTube publishes Motion-Graphics, which review the humanitarian crisis in Yemen and the failure of humanitarian aid to solve the famine disaster that afflicts more than two-thirds of the population.
