The Engineering Teams of the Joint Resistance detonated a new quantity of mines and improvised explosive devices planted by the Houthi militias in areas and neighborhoods in al-Hodeida before they were defeated.

A military source said that the engineering teams blew up the past hours more than 600 landmines after dismantling them in the last days, in the framework of ongoing efforts to clear areas and streets and neighborhoods in the liberated areas in al-Hodeida.

The source added the Joint Resistance Forces is keenness to get rid of the mines of the militias.

The Resistance Forces stressed its commitment to international conventions that criminalize the use of mines and explosive devices.

The Houthi militias' landmines form a nightmare in the areas of the West Coast left by the armed militias backed by Iran, where hardly a day passes without civilian casualties, mostly women and children, in their villages, farms and public roads.
