Saghir Aziz: Houthi militias again evade implementation of al-Hodeida agreement

In a statement to al-Arabiya al-Hadath Saghir Aziz said that the discussions in the meeting with representatives of the Houthis in the presence of the international side are focused on the mechanism of the ceasefire.
He added that "representatives of the militias are evading the implementation of the first phase of redeployment in the three ports of al-Hodeida under the tripartite supervision of the redeployment committee.
"He noted that the UN Special Envoy to Yemen Martin Griffiths will travel next Wednesday to Sana'a to convince Houthis to implement the redeployment.
The Joint Committee charged with implementing the Sweden's agreement in al-Hodeida province held a meeting on Sunday aboard a ship off al-Hodeida, in the presence of representatives of the Houthis, the government and the United Nations, in its first meeting since last February.
