Griffiths flies to Riyadh in conjunction with "floating" meeting off al-Hodeida

The UN envoy for Yemen, Martin Griffiths, is making a new visit to Riyadh, the second in less than half a month, as part of his efforts to rescue the Sweden's deal of the failure.
Griffiths's visit coincided with a meeting of the Joint Tripartite of Redeployment Coordination Committee (RCC) on in al-Hodeida, chaired by Danish General Michael Lollesgaard aboard a WFP ship in international waters off al-Hodeida province.
The UN envoy said in a statement recently that the consultations with the Yemeni parties will resume as soon as possible according to the three references, without specifying a date, warning of what he called "the danger of the fall of Yemen a hostage to regional tensions.
Griffiths described his recent meetings in Riyadh, Abu Dhabi and Muscat, with concerned parties and the Coalition countries, as very fruitful and constructive.
The UN envoy for Yemen had visited the United States and met with Foreign Minister Mike Pompeo in Washington and discussed with him ways to help the parties end the conflict in Yemen.
