Activists: If the 35th brigade is rebellious, will the Popular Crowd is the army?

A television channel, affiliated to the Brotherhood, the popular crowd of the Islah Party, and financed by Qatar, launched its provocative campaign against the 35th armored brigade in Taiz province, central Yemen.

Yemen Shabab / 'Yemen Youth' reported that Taiz revolutionaries requested the military and local Authorities to stop the rebellion of the brigade against the State, claiming armed groups belonging to the Brigade blocked Taiz-Aden road, the news story on the Brotherhood channel did not give further details about reasons for the halted road lasted just for three hours at the end of last week.

The incitement campaign against the 35th armored brigade and its field commander Adnan al-Hammadi came amid  the Brotherhood's continuation in mobilizing their armed militias aiming at controlling al-Hujareyah, al-Mawasit, districts, controlled by the Brigade since the beginning of the war five years ago.   

The Army in Taiz affiliated with the Brotherhood tried to disperse the brigade members so as to control the all army brigades in the province, as well as to expand their control till the West coast of Taiz.

The Brotherhood also deprives the Brigade of armaments, ammunition, nutrition and Financial allocations over the past years. This led the brigade's leadership providing its needs from the leadership of the Coalition and the Fourth Military Region in the interim Capital Aden.

The activist Talal al-Sabri wrote a post on Facebook as saying "  President Abdurabu Mansour, President of the Republic, the Islah party delivers its incitement via its channels to attack on the 35th armored Brigade, the first spark to defend Taiz and the nucleus of the National Army in the province".

The activist Fares Hassan stressed that the Islah party serves Houthi with its presence within the Legitimacy largely, and information says that its military leaders provide the Houthi group with weapons; and military fronts dominated by the party nearby the Houthi militias in Taiz city stopped, especially after the departure of Qatar from the Coalition.

The activist Hassan pointed out that the presence of Qatar and Iran in one track showed a recent harmony between the Islah Party and Houthi militias.
