Muslim Brotherhood leaders thwarted the initiative of the Yemeni businessman AbdulJabbar Hayel Saeed Anam to open gates of the besieged city of Taiz for four years ago.

Mr. AbdulJabbar Hayel Saeed presented a personal initiative to open one of city gates of Taiz, and sent the initiative to the Brotherhood leaders after he submitted it to the Houthi militias' leaders, an informed source said to Newsyemen.

The source said the Houthi militias welcomed the initiative, demanding the other party to discuss the initiative with them.

The Brotherhood refused the initiative without explaining the reason for such rejection. Our local sources contacted with a number of officials and the leadership of the Brotherhood, and found that the Brotherhood leaders contacted with the Vice President Ali Mohsen, and sent him the initiative of the Yemeni businessman AbdulJabbar Hayel Saeed, in which Mohsen directed to reject the initiative.

Our sources pointed out that the essence of the initiative of Abdul-Jabbar is to commit the two parties to the war to open a humanitarian crossing to the city of Taiz, and suggested the opening of the eastern crossing, the tour of the Republican Palace - al-Hawban, or the western crossing of the intersection of Hadhran area.
