Four killed in an armed ambush in Sayoun

Four soldiers were killed and others seriously injured in an armed ambush targeting a military patrol belonging to the Special Task Force known as al-Hadarem Battalion of the First Military region in Hadramout province.
A military source said the incident took place at dawn on Tuesday in Taris area in the western city of Sayoun while the patrol was in a mission to protect a relief convoy in area.
According to the source, the improvised explosive devices were planted on the pavement of the road exploded during the passage of the patrol, killing four soldiers and seriously wounding others.
others said that gunmen attacked the soldiers' car and fired bullets after the bomb had exploded, killing four and seriously injured others while they tried to clash with the attackers.
