Houthi commander, three gunmen in ambush in al-Baida killed

Field commander at the Houthi militias was killed along with his three escorts Friday morning in an ambush carried out by the Popular Resistance in al-Zaher district in al-Baida province.
Al-Hummaiqan Resistance carried out the armed ambush for the Houthi commander in al-Jamajem sites in al-Zaher district, a local source said to Newsyemen.
He explained that the district has experienced violent clashes for four days with various weapons amid making a mountain road by the armed militias to be stationed in the strategic mountain of Halmous overlooking the Resistance sites.
He pointed out that the Houthi militias shelled the populated areas of the Qarbah, and al-Habaj with Katyusha rockets in response to their losses, causing damage to civilians' homes and their properties
