Coalition refers air strike in Sa'ada to JIAT

The Joint Forces Command of the Arab Coalition on Friday referred one of the Arab's raids in Sa'ada province to the Joint Incidents Assessment Team (JIAT) to evaluate the possibility of accidental incident resulting the death of civilians.

The Arab Coalition spokesman the Colonel Turki al-Maliki said that "the Joint Forces Command has completed reviewing the post-action procedures for the implemented operations in the operations area  on Tuesday (26 March 2019). 

He added that the results will be announced at the time of the team finish the evaluation.

He reiterated the Coalition's commitment to implement the highest standards of targeting as well as apply the principles of international humanitarian law and its customary rules of military operations.

He added that it must be taken all actions with regard to the occurrence of incidental incidents to achieve the highest levels of responsibility and transparency.
