Yemeni authorities seize Omani weapons' smuggler in al-Mahra

The local authorities in al-Mahra province seized a shipment of weapons and explosives on a car driven by an Omani citizen at Yemen's Shahan border port, linking Yemen to Oman.
The Omani citizen Mohammed Saeed Mohsen Qamaisat, holds a driving license, issued by the General Secretariat of Traffic in Oman, Salalah Branch.
The local authorities explained that the seized shipment of arms and explosives contained 340 heads of explosive 'bazookas', and 40,000 rounds or bullets of Kalashnikov ammunition.
The investigations are underway.
