Y.R 150 billion's fate sack Houthi Finance minister

Sources in the Capital Sana'a said that disputes over tax payments were the first reason in ousting the Houthi finance minister Dr. Hussein Maqbouli and appointed another, sources in the Capital Sana'a said.

According to Newsyemen sources the differences of disbursing the sum of Y.R 150 billion was collected by the Tax Authority, and was not given to the treasury of the Central Bank was the reason for the dismissal of the Houthi Minister of Finance. 

The sources say that conflicts between the wings of the militias on the looting of tax funds have escalated recently after the refusal of Finance Minister Dr. Maqbouli to adopt financial increases for tax officials upon the proposal submitted by the chairman of the Tax Authority Hashim al-Shami under the pretext of the tax funds are not delivered to the Central Bank. 

The sources added that the leader office of the Houthi militias forced the Minister of Finance Dr. Maqbouli to pay the increases to the chairman of the Tax Authority, which amounted to (100%), which the minister considered it a corruption process.

Rasheed Abboud Abu Luhum was appointed by the Supreme Political Council, run by the Houthi militias.

The sources explained that the Chairman of the Tax Authority Dr. Hashim Shami, directly linked to the Militias leader Office Abdulmalik al-Houthi. 

The tax Authority chairman delivered a large sum of the tax money to the Houthi leader office directly. 

The large amounts of money exploit under the name of supporting the War Effort of the armed militias.
