A Yemeni plastic artist announced a charitable auction to sell one of her paintings in order to provide breakfast for students of a government school, at the beginning of the new academic year 2022-2023 and the season for students to return to school classes.

In conjunction with the start of the new school year, parents need expenses, needs, requirements and fees.  Yemeni plastic artist Saba Jalas believes that the problem is exacerbated when: "Some parents do not have the ability to bear all these obligations," stressing the importance of social solidarity: "Everyone contributes what they can to support families in need to enable their children to attend school."

This charitable initiative comes in light of the high registration fees in public and private schools.  And the high prices of books, school uniforms and school requirements, to record levels, to the extent that Yemeni families are unable to enroll some of their children in school classes.

Saba Glass is one of the most prominent Yemeni plastic artists whose works have gained fame during the past period, and she has many local and international participations. She began painting on smoke images at the beginning of the war in 2015, then moved in 2017 to painting with oil colors, and she has been organizing charity auctions for school students affected by the deteriorating situation.  materialistic for many due to war conditions.
