Military sources told "NewsYemen" that the government forces withdrew from the Jabal Murad district completely, while battles are taking place in the Al-Khaniq area, adjacent to the Al-Juba district, south of Ma'rib Governorate, east of Yemen.

The sources stated that the Ministry of Defense issued orders for the withdrawal of forces from Jabal Murad, after the Houthi militia took control of all the ports, except for a single port from which the government forces were able to withdraw.

It said that the army had left various heavy weapons that had reinforced the positions in Murad during the past three days, including four tanks, five armored vehicles, and various weapons and ammunition.

On the other hand, field sources in Marib accused the army leadership and the Islah party of negligence following the militia's infiltration in the districts of Juba and Jabal Murad.

The sources told NewsYemen that the army leadership of the Islah party left its positions on the fronts south of Marib, including the Murad front.

The battles are taking place in the last areas of Jabal Murad, amid demands to quickly move the fronts in the other provinces to relieve the pressure on the Marib fronts, according to "NewsYmen" sources.
