Multiple military sources said that two government forces patrols were destroyed by two explosive devices, on Tuesday evening, killing five soldiers and seriously wounding 8 others, who were taken to the military hospital in Marib city.

The sources indicated that the two explosions took place in the Hailan region, which is under the control of the government forces.

The incident comes less than a week after the motorcade of the Defense Minister of Mogadishi was exposed to an unknown explosion, which killed 8 soldiers and injured others.

Until now, the information is still vague about the nature of the explosion, while sources indicated that the explosion that targeted the minister’s ward and escaped from it was not by a mine or a Houthi projectile, likely to be caused by leaders of the Al-Kassara front of the Al Jalal tribe, where many individuals are under investigation.

According to the sources, after the Al-Kassara point and near the "Hailan" asphalt junction, a vehicle accompanying the minister exploded, killing 8 and wounding others, while the glass of the minister’s vehicle was broken, and the minister was slightly injured.

Hours after the incident targeting the minister, private sources say a bomb has exploded with the staff of the 140th Brigade, Brigadier General Rashad al-Yousifi

According to NewsYemen's sources, among the dead in the two incidents were six soldiers from the city of Taiz, who their funeral were held on Friday in al-Dhabab and al-Turbah areas.

In the same area, one of the soldiers who met with Newsyemen met in Taiz, who preferred not to be named, says that during January and February, approximately 13 explosive devices in the "Kassara" area, which is under the control of the government forces, exploded, killing many people, destroying their military patrols, and news was silenced on that, due to the sensitivity of the situation, he said.

On the ground, clashes are still continuing on the four fronts of Sarwah, amid intense alliance raids.

Today, Wednesday, Arab coalition fighters launched raids on militia sites in the Hailan front, one of which targeted a Houthi patrol with several individuals on board.

The raids also resulted, according to military sources, in killing at least 15 Houthis and the wounding of others.

In Al-Mashjah front, which links the Sarwah and Hailan fronts, battles are described and described as violent, in which a number of Houthis were killed, while five members of the army were killed while attacking the militia positions.
