The Ministry of Health in the Yemeni government has officially announced that Yemen is free of corona virus so far.
The deputy undersecretary for the primary care sector, Ali Al-Waleedi, told the government news agency today, Tuesday, that the ministry has not recorded any infection.

He referred to the total measures taken by the Ministry of Health and its office in Aden, which falls within the framework of preparations for any emergency and preventive measures for what may happen.

The Ministry of Health denied any agreement between the government and the UAE to transfer Yemeni scholars in China to Aden.
There is no agreement between the government and the UAE on setting up a quarantine center in Aden to transport Yemeni students from China to it, said Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, Abdulraqeeb Al-Haidari, in a Facebook post.

Al-Haidari stressed the incorrectness of what is being reported regarding the transfer of Yemeni students from Wuhan to Aden.

In Hadhramaut Governorate, health authorities in Tarim District denied that there was a case of corona virus infection in the Emergency Department of Tarim Hospital.

In a statement, the Health Bureau condemned what was circulated on social media platforms in this regard. The statement said, "This act represents a worry for the public, spreading rumors and the resulting intimidation of citizens and disturbing the life of the city."
