Al-Qaeda reveals its targets coming from the southern military leaders
English - Sunday 20 August 2023 الساعة 07:10 pmActivists and local politicians circulated on their accounts on social media, a publication attributed to an electronic channel supporting the terrorist organization Al-Qaeda in Yemen, which includes pictures of the victims of the leaders of the southern forces and its upcoming targets.
The publication was issued by the "Al-Iman Brigades Foundation for Media Production" and included pictures of 13 southern military figures who said they were targets of Al-Qaeda, and only seven of them remain after the assassination and targeting of six of them.
Among the upcoming targets of al-Qaeda, according to the post, is a member of the Presidential Leadership Council - President of the Southern Transitional Council, Aidarous al-Zubaidi, and the commander of the anti-terrorism forces, Shalal Shaya. However, the post placed at the top of the list, Colonel Abdul Rahman Nasser Abdullah al-Shenini, appointed as commander of the anti-terrorism unit, Abyan governorate branch.
The targets also included Yusran al-Maqtari, commander of the anti-terrorism unit in Aden, Mukhtar al-Nubi, commander of the Abyan axis, Abu Mushghal Baazeb, director of Abyan security, and Ali al-Mahwari.
