Seizing an Iranian drug ship off Yemen

 The Yemeni Coast Guard forces seized a drug ship coming from Iran with 6 Iranians on board, off the coast of Al-Mahrah Governorate, in the east of the country.

A source in the Yemeni Coast Guard said that the authority's patrols in Al-Mahrah governorate seized an Iranian ship with a shipment of drugs on board, coming from Iran and heading to the Yemeni coast.

The source explained that the seized ship was entered with the cargo and its crew consisting of 6 people (who hold Iranian nationality) to the port of Nishtun to take the necessary legal measures.

Not long ago, the security services in Marib governorate seized a shipment of narcotic hashish, which is the third shipment to be seized in less than ten days, while trying to smuggle it to the terrorist Houthi militia.

The shipment contained 320 kilograms, and was professionally hidden in a cargo truck.

The commander of the security forces in the province, Brigadier General Salim al-Siyaghi, said, "The security points at the entrances to the Yemeni province seized three suspects, who are the drivers of the vehicles on which the quantities of narcotic hashish were seized."
