After the end of the World Cup, which it hosted late last year 2022, the State of Qatar returned to tampering with the Yemeni file by feeding its wing belonging to the terrorist Brotherhood movement and led by the Yemeni activist residing in Turkey, Tawakul Karman.

However, this time, Qatar chose the American capital, Washington, to be the headquarters for the resumption of its activity, in an unusual way in which it used to use the Turkish city of Istanbul, where most of the Brotherhood activists who are hostile to legitimacy and the Arab coalition led by Saudi Arabia reside.

Qatar also used what became known as the "Muscat cell", which opposes Yemeni legitimacy and the Arab coalition led by Saudi Arabia, to serve as a front for its activities. Those present were Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Abdulaziz Jabari, and former Minister of Transport, Saleh Al-Jabwani, and they are two of the most frequent officials in the Omani capital, Muscat.  The delegation of the terrorist Houthi negotiating militia is residing.  And the presenter on Al-Jazeera channel, Ghada Aweys, Abdullah Al-Awda, the son of the preacher Salman Al-Awda, and other Yemeni and Arab personalities loyal to Qatar.

Expectations indicate that this conference, suspicious of its goals, was preceded by meetings held in Doha on the sidelines of the World Cup, which lasted for nearly a month during the period from November 20 to December 18, 2022 , especially since most of the names were present under the pretext of attending the tournament matches.

Also, the use of Washington instead of Istanbul may be caused by the latter's rapprochement with Saudi Arabia, the Emirates and Egypt and its attempt to end the differences, the most prominent of which was the activities of the Brotherhood on its land.

It is believed that the aim of holding this conference at the right time is to persuade the international community to ease the pressure on the Houthi militia, especially as it begins its moves to revive the political track that the militia itself disrupted by refusing to extend the humanitarian truce on October 2.  Despite the agreement of the Presidential Leadership Council and the Arab Coalition to pay salaries to public sector employees in areas under Houthi control.

What confirms the seriousness of this conference is the attack launched by the Saudi newspaper Okaz on it and those in charge of it, whom it described as the "bankrupt Brotherhood", and holding them responsible for setbacks in efforts to rid Yemen of Iran's hegemony, leading to explicitly accusing them of collaborating with the mullahs' authority in Iran.

The conference organizers tried to equate the terrorist Houthi militia, the legitimate government and its supporters from the Arab coalition by holding them all responsible for the war in the country and obstructing the achievement of peace.  The accusations and claims are as if they are responsible for the eight-year-old war in Yemen.
