The document, which was issued at the end of last November by the Military Public Prosecution, included a compulsory summons order against the commander of the Taiz axis, Major General Khaled Fadel, and the former military police commander, Muhammad Salem Al-Khawlani.
The Public Prosecution issued an order to the commander of the fourth military region to bring the two leaders of the military wing of the Muslim Brotherhood organization in Yemen to appear before the military courts, where they face a prison sentence on charges of storming and looting the house of Colonel Fuad al-Shaddadi, one of the founders of the army and the resistance in Taiz governorate after the Houthi coup.
Colonel Al-Shaddadi filed a complaint with the military judiciary against Major General Khaled Fadel, commander of the Taiz axis, and Brigadier General Muhammad Salem Al-Khawlani, former commander of the military police in Taiz governorate, for storming his house, looting its contents and terrorizing his family, in addition to abusing him and all his relatives for refusing to obey the orders of the Brotherhood in Taiz.
The Military Prosecution document stated that the leaders of the Brotherhood directed a military campaign to be launched against al-Shaddadi’s house and the homes of his relatives, looting private property, personal weapons, and a military kit entrusted to al-Shaddadi from the Ministry of Defense, in addition to terrorizing women and children.
And Brotherhood militias participated with forces affiliated with the Taiz axis and the military police affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood in storming and looting the homes of Colonel Fouad Al-Shaddadi and his relatives in the Al-Jabziya area of Al-Maafer District in August 2020.
A group of crews belonging to the Taiz axis and the military police under the control of the Brotherhood branch in Taiz, the "Islah Party", with the support of the Popular Mobilization militia, carried out a raid campaign and stormed the homes of Colonel Fouad al-Shadadi, his brother Hamid, and the house of one of his relatives, terrifying children and women.
The Brotherhood's militias looted the contents of Colonel Al-Shaddadi's house, along with two military kits, one of which belonged to Colonel Al-Shaddadi, who received it as a gift from the martyr Brigadier General Adnan Al-Hammadi, commander of the 35th Armored Brigade, and the other belongs to the 35th Armored Brigade, of which Al-Shaddadi was one of its founding leaders.
Days before the storming of Colonel Al-Shadadi's house, the Brotherhood's militia had stormed the house of the head of operations of the 35th Armored Brigade, Colonel Abdul Hakim Al-Jabzi, and kidnapped his son, Dr. Aseel, and executed him in a brutal manner in a terrorist act that is still awaiting justice until today.
The Brotherhood militia carried out large-scale kidnappings of officers and soldiers in the 35th Armored Brigade, after it invaded the brigade's sites and the Al-Hujaria areas.
