Ibb, newsyemen, private:

For many years, and before it was invaded by the Houthi militia, the arm of Iran, the governorate of Ibb, in central Yemen, enjoyed peace, tranquility, security and safety, which made it a destination for tourism and a suitable place for spending happy holidays.

The city's tranquility and the peacefulness of its people made it a coveted Houthi militia, which invaded the governorate in 2015, wreaked corruption and spread killing, terror and panic among the people who live in dark and dark seasons under the control of these terrorist militias.

The ambition of the Houthi militia has emerged remarkably in the frequent visits of some of its senior leaders, who are known for their involvement in spreading lands and public and private property in several Yemeni governorates under their control.

Ahmed Hamed, the man who impersonates the director of the Office of the Presidency of the Republic, and is called the President of the President in Sanaa, is one of the most prominent Houthi influencers who visit the city of Ibb, as well as the prominent leader Muhammad Ali Al-Houthi and others who lead and support the expansion and control of government spaces, lands and real estate belonging to citizens.

The visits carry slogans and banners to inspect the conditions of the governorate and improve the conditions of citizens and the necessary services. In fact, they are visits aimed at continuing expansion operations, supervising the land and real estate mafia, and tightening control and plundering citizens' rights and property.

In just one week, a tenth of the incidents and clashes were recorded between Houthi leaders and others loyal to them, to spread lands belonging to citizens and others belonging to the state, in preparation for selling them for millions of riyals and hard currencies.

 previous visits

In December 2015, the Houthi militia declared Ibb governorate the capital of tourism in the country. On that day, Abu Ali al-Hakim visited the city and was received at the beginning of the fall of the regime. It was as if he was a conqueror who had come from a far country.

The citizen, "Muhammad A. R. S," told "NewsYemen": The leadership of the local authority and some ordinary citizens were not aware that the man had come to cut the tape of chaos, and open the doors of looting to the appetite of those who would later control the state's property and capabilities, with a green light from the higher leadership.

He adds: People fell victim to a false image, like others in the rest of the provinces, before the facts were revealed, to find themselves in front of a gang that spreads death and plunders the crop, and as for tourism, which they said about, it turned into the occupation of a group of supervisors coming from outside the province.

 Scary accidents and lawlessness

The execution of a Houthi gunman for a young man working in a vegetable stall after he refused to pay royalties estimated at 200 riyals - less than half a dollar - was nothing but one of the most heinous crimes that led to protests and the demand of citizens to hold the killer accountable.

The young man, Ahmed Abdullah, entered into a dispute with a Houthi gunman, so he directly shot him, causing him to fall down covered in his blood in front of the crowd of citizens.

This incident coincided with dozens of incidents in a number of districts and the capital of the governorate, most of which ended in death in less than a week, in addition to a number of violations and confiscation of property.

Leadership struggle

Only Ibb governorate has absorbed new faces in huge numbers as soon as it fell into the hands of Iran's arm. Dozens of agents and dozens of directors and consultants have been appointed during the past seven years, which led to a horizontal struggle between them and a remarkable rise in cases of corruption among them.

These influential people follow high-ranking leaders in Sanaa, so no one can hold them accountable whether people were killed at their hands, land was looted, or government or private property was confiscated.

In Ibb, the security guard, the judiciary, the Preventive Security Agency, the Zainabat, the Political Security, and the Criminal Investigation Office, as well as the duties, endowments, taxes, and cleaning offices, work at a high pace without regard for the citizens' circumstances.

Private property is also being confiscated, university revenues are being looted, mosque imams are being changed on a large scale, sports facilities and even ancient houses and public street plans are being looted, all at the expense of the security and stability of the province.
