Taiz, NewsYemen, Muhammad Yahya:

During seven years, armed gangs invaded the city of Taiz, and practiced all forms of chaos, terrorism, murder, abuse and looting.  The city was stripped of all manifestations of the state's existence, backed by senior Brotherhood leaders in the military and security institutions in the governorate, after the terrorist group tightened its control over Taiz, and recruited wanted people within its armed militia under the name of "the army", and granted them military ranks since the first day of their recruitment into its militia,  To tamper these criminal elements in the province terrorism and corruption.

Since the start of the battle against the Houthi militia in Taiz in 2015, the main goal of the Islah party - the arm of the terrorist Brotherhood in Yemen - has not been to liberate the governorate from the coup militia, but rather to control the city of Taiz and make it a Muslim Brotherhood province.  He worked to turn the battle against the Houthis into an internal conflict, and through the Qatari support he received, he established camps outside the framework of the army, with the aim of imposing the Brotherhood's control over the city and the surrounding areas.

The Brotherhood pushed its cadres to take the lead in the military and security institutions in Taiz, which later turned into a den for terrorists and extremist elements, after the Brotherhood established what they called an “army” that included about 45,000 members who were distributed in the lists of the army and security forces in the governorate.

The Islah Party worked to develop and expand its military wing, by establishing a number of armed militias under different names.  He benefited from the formation of what he called the “popular resistance” in arming terrorist groups, and framing them in the name of “Hasm Brigades”, which included at the beginning of its formation about 300 members of al-Qaeda elements who fled from the southern governorates, and they are the battalions that committed crimes against civilians with the support and protection of the Taiz axis.

At the beginning of the war against the Houthi militia - Iran's arm in Yemen - the Brotherhood leaders were seeking to invest the successes of the popular resistance in their favor, so they worked to frame it, and waged a fierce war against the "Abu al-Abbas" Brigades after it felt their seriousness to liberate the province, and also stood against the formation of a solid front in the Al-Hujariya area.  To resist the Houthi militia.

Through their influence on Hadi’s authority and their control over the decision of legitimacy at the time, the Brotherhood succeeded in controlling the military institution in Taiz, and taking over the leadership of the military axis and 6 military brigades out of the 7 brigades that make up the Taiz axis. They also recruited their members and distributed recruitment forms through the party’s headquarters.  In addition to the distribution of more than 120 military ranks to civilian recruits affiliated with the party.

It was the 35th Armored Brigade, which was the first shot in the face of the Houthi coup.  It is the obstacle to the plans of the Taiz Brotherhood, so its leader, Brigadier General Adnan Al Hammadi, was assassinated.  The brigade was controlled and dismantled, with the aim of opening a front towards the south, as well as the western coast, and then Bab al-Mandab, according to a Turkish-Qatari plan, revealed by the Brotherhood’s military crowds since the beginning of 2020, in the Al-Hijriyah area and in the border areas between the southern governorates of Taiz and Lahj, where the Brotherhood took the area  A stronghold for the deployment of their militias and their positioning in many camps and locations, in the stone heights overlooking the port of Mocha and the Bab al-Mandab strait.  and in the southern provinces.

During about 7 years, several camps belonging to the Brotherhood were formed in Taiz, outside the administration of the Fourth Military Region and the Ministry of Defense.  It receives significant external funding, which has contributed to an increase in the number of these camps and militias. Since late March 2019, the terrorist Brotherhood’s arm has formed new military militias in Taiz.  The process of graduating these forces began with five military batches, comprising more than five thousand soldiers, who were assembled based on their affiliation with the terrorist group, followed by other batches.

Recently, the terrorist organization’s arm in Yemen pushed a new militia under the name “Emergency Forces”, whose members were recruited into special camps in the districts of Al-Hajariya and the city of Taiz. It also established camps outside the framework of the Ministry of Defense and the Staff, including the so-called “Fifth Brigade Support and Support” of the leader  Hammoud Al-Mikhlafi is stationed in the Hajariya and Jabal Habashi areas, and receives financial funding from the Qatari Emirate of Evil.

Observers see these Brotherhood arrangements as an attempt to obstruct any steps from the Presidential Command Council, to correct imbalances and restructure the security and military forces in Taiz, and to end the Brotherhood’s mess in the city, which has turned into a den of terrorism, corruption and chaos.
