Taiz, NewsYemen, special:

The leadership of the Taiz axis demanded from the authorities in Lahj governorate to return a shipment of ammunition and weapons that were intercepted by gunmen in the Maabak area of the Al-Maqatirah Directorate.

Last Tuesday evening, armed men from the Al-Humaida tribe intercepted a truck transporting oil derivatives coming from Tur Al-Baha and on its way to Taiz, and after inspecting it, it was discovered that a shipment of weapons, tanks, artillery and anti-aircraft ammunition was hidden inside.

According to local sources, the gunmen seized the truck and its driver, who stated that he had received it from the Al-Farsha junction in the Tor Al-Baha district, coming from the Ma’rib governorate, adding that the tribe’s gunmen informed the security director of Lahj, Major General / Saleh Al-Sayed, that the shipment was seized with the truck driver.

The sources pointed out that the method of concealing the shipment raised suspicions that it was an attempt to smuggle to the Houthi militia, noting that there were accusations from the members of the Hamida tribe against the commander of the Fourth Brigade, Brigadier General of the Brotherhood / Abu Bakr al-Jaboli, of being involved in the case.

The leadership of the Taiz axis, which is under the control of the Brotherhood, acknowledged that the truck belonged to it in an official memorandum issued by it and addressed to the governor of Lahj and the leader of the so-called "Tur al-Baha axis", the Jabouli Brotherhood, demanding its recovery and the arrest of those who intercepted it.

The Axis command claimed that the weapons belong to the Taiz fronts, calling for a speedy return of the shipment "which would speed up the supply of ammunition to the burning fronts of Taiz and prevent the fall of combat positions."

The leadership of the axis, in clear language of blackmail, warned the governor of Lahj in her speech against the fall of these sites, as she addressed him by saying: "You realize that it will pose a great danger on the fronts of Lahj Governorate and others."
