Aden, NewsYemen:

The head of the Presidential Leadership Council, Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi, blamed the international community for the consequences of inaction towards the practices and violations of Iran's terrorist arm.

During his meeting with the US envoy to Yemen, Timothy Lenderking, and US Ambassador Stephen Fagin, Al-Alimi warned of the repercussions of Houthi violations on the chances of peace and the security of the region and the world.

The President of the Presidential Leadership Council praised the role of the United States of America and its special envoy in his good efforts to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people and support their political leadership at various levels.

Al-Alimi discussed with Lenderking the latest developments in the Yemeni situation, and the international efforts coordinated with the United Nations to revive the peace process in the country.

Al-Alimi listened to a briefing from the US envoy on the results of his recent rounds aimed at consolidating the existing truce and pushing the Houthi militias to respect their commitments, including opening the roads of Taiz and other governorates, and paying employees’ salaries from the revenues of Hodeidah ports.

The US envoy praised the recent exceptional presidential and governmental decisions, which included facilitating the entry of oil derivatives ships to the ports of Hodeidah, despite the Houthi militias’ obstacles, and their efforts to fabricate humanitarian crises and blackmail the international community.

The US envoy also affirmed his country's keenness to support the reforms led by the Presidential Leadership Council and the government, especially in the service areas, and to improve the state's public revenues.
