Al-Islah uses any Qur’anic verses on reforming as the slogan of the Yemeni Al-Islah rally;  To highlight the significance of the name chosen for the political entity of the Muslim Brotherhood in Yemen and was announced on the 13th of September 1990;  His goal is summed up as the task of "reforming" politics, the state and society.

However, this goal or mission has become today, and after 3 decades of raising it, is what the party needs most on its 32nd birthday to preserve its political future as a party or as the Brotherhood in Yemen.

A "reformist" mission that looks at the reality of the Islah party today and reconsiders its march during the past three decades as a party and also during the past six decades as the Brotherhood of Yemen;

Although it succeeded in building an organized base of members on the spread of the Yemeni map and from various groups, it is unparalleled by the rest of the political parties and forces;  However, on the other hand, through its various stations, it was either working on making enemies and opponents locally and abroad, or transforming allies and partners into enemies and opponents.

Perhaps the state of the Islah Party today is the best proof of that.  After it has become very close with the Houthi group in the number of enemies and political opponents internally and externally, and the size of the popular rejection of them in the north and south;  Despite the national slogans raised by them;  However, it fails to cover the reality of their ideology of exclusion and possession and of looking at the other as a follower, not a partner.

On the enormity of the previous similarity between the march of the Islah party and the Houthi movement;  However, the situation with Islah is worse, given that the Houthi influence on the scene is linked to its control over the majority of the area of the north.  Meanwhile, Islah is struggling to survive politically in the liberated areas.

 The party’s policy and its hostile history against the south hastened its gradual expulsion from it after its liberation from Iran’s hand.  In favor of the Transitional Council, starting from Aden in 2018 to Shabwa in 2022;  His last presence in Al-Mahra and the Hadhramaut Valley became contingent on the survival of the forces loyal to him there.

As for what is liberated in the north in Taiz and Marib, the bad experience of reform in their administration doubled its popular loss, and its survival is now dependent on the creation of new forces that remove it from the scene, as happened in the south.  This is not excluded in the post-April 7th phase, which constituted the strongest political blow to the party in recent years.

 A blow embodied in the fall of his political influence on the legitimacy decision to remove Hadi and his deputy, Ali Mohsen al-Ahmar, as a compulsory solution to prevent the coalition’s defeat in Yemen in front of the Iranian project due to the disastrous performance of legitimacy since 2015.

Disastrous performance The Islah Party bears the bulk of the responsibility;  By controlling the decision of legitimacy and harnessing it to his advantage and against the rest of the battle partners, turning them into enemies and opponents, including the coalition countries, specifically the UAE;  Serving the agenda of the international organization of the Muslim Brotherhood at the expense of the Yemenis' agenda in restoring their state and eliminating the Houthi coup.

A policy and a process that made the party stand today without any political ally, shunned from within and without, after turning everyone into enemies and opponents;  It is now required to embark on the task of "reforming" itself as a "Yemeni" grouping and not as an "international organization" that aims for reform and not destruction.
