English - Thursday 01 September 2022 الساعة 04:57 pmPoliticians and activists valued the support provided by the United Arab Emirates to education, knowledge and academic institutions in our country.
This comes hours after the UAE announced that it would provide 80 scholarships to high school graduates in Aden, Hadhramaut and Shabwa.
The official spokesman of the Transitional Council, Ali Al Kathiri, praised the great support provided by the United Arab Emirates to education in our country.
Al Kathiri said in a tweet to him, "The development and relief support provided by the United Arab Emirates to our people continues, this time to overflow in the field of human development through the scholarship offered to students of Aden, Shabwa and Hadhramaut in the field of studying medicine at Hadhramout University."
Al Kathiri added, "It is not new this keenness shown by our brothers in the UAE to advance education in our country, despite the destruction that our provinces in the south are suffering from as a result of the war waged by Iran's arm and the systematic destruction and denial of higher education opportunities for youth and students in the southern provinces.
Media activist Wadah bin Attia also tweeted, "The UAE shows at all stages its keenness to develop the liberated areas by supporting education from the first moment, and immediately after the liberation of Aden, we saw the UAE's interest in restoring schools destroyed by militias."
"Supporting education means sustainable development, and by educating the youth, the militias will die," Ibn Attia said.
Journalist Yasser Al-Yafei also wrote, "The UAE has supported education in Yemen from an early age and has made outstanding contributions to the advancement of the educational process after the liberation of Aden and its neighboring regions, and today it confirms its continued support for qualitative university education with medical scholarships for students of Hadhramaut, Shabwa and Aden."
In turn, political activist Aseel Muhammad Al-Saqtri tweeted: "The Emirati grant comes at a time when the world is suffering from health crises and wars, and this is evidence to the degree to which the UAE is essentially participating with the international community in securing everything that contributes to immunizing the mentioned peoples and governorates against the repercussions of these crises."
In the context, the journalist Arslan Al-Sulaimani said, "The UAE has worked to support the field of education from the first moment of the outbreak of events, and its main goal was to preserve the educational and educational knowledge aspect and make its students reach the highest academic levels and provide the dissemination of knowledge peace in the face of the instability that is spreading in Yemen."
Academic Zaid Al-Jamal stressed that the UAE is the most generous among the countries of the world in providing support, assistance and grants to UN bodies and funds that are interested in supporting science and learners at the global and regional levels.
