Aden, NewsYemen:

The office of the President of the Presidential Leadership Council approved the appointment of the son of the governor of Dhamar province, Ali Muhammad al-Qawsi, to the position of advisor to the province of al-Bayda, upon the nomination of his father.

This step came just weeks after a letter addressed by the Presidential Office to Prime Minister Maeen Abdul-Malik, in which he directed the suspension of all family appointments that violate the law.

According to official documents, the appointed governor of Dhamar Governorate (fully controlled by the Houthi militia), Ali Muhammad al-Qawsi, nominated his son (Mohammed) to issue a decision appointing him as an advisor to the governor of Dhamar Governorate, which is also under the control of the Houthis.

Al-Qawsi enclosed a memorandum of nomination of his son for the position to the office of the Presidency of the Republic, with a similar memorandum of nomination from the governor of Al-Bayda.

The governor of Dhamar praised his son and his eligibility for the position, describing him as "one of the most loyal and loyal to the state," according to what was stated in the memo.

In response to al-Qawsi's memorandum, the Presidential Office directed the Prime Minister to take the necessary measures to issue a decision appointing Muhammad Ali al-Qawsi's son as an advisor to the governor of al-Bayda.
