Aden, NewsYemen, special:

The southern street fears that the partisan tools of the former Brotherhood regime will remain in government and administrative positions, despite the recent change that emerged from the Riyadh consultations, which culminated in the formation of the Presidential Leadership Council.

The people of the south are calling for the Presidential Leadership Council to make a comprehensive change within government institutions in the liberated areas, and to remove those who were the main causes of failure during the past years.

Southern politicians believe that Brotherhood tools are still tampering with some government institutions, and exploiting their influence to strike the great political consensus between the national forces, stressing that thwarting these efforts requires courageous decisions from the Leadership Council and the replacement of party tools with agreed competencies.

Journalist Basem Al-Shuaibi said that the failure of the previous authority was not related to Hadi and Al-Ahmar, but to the way they managed the country during those past years.

Al-Shuaibi stressed that the recent changes and the formation of a presidential council are useless, if the country will be run with the same mentality and the same previous tools.

For his part, Wadah bin Attia, a member of the National Assembly of the Transitional Council, said that the outcomes of the Riyadh Agreement and the Riyadh consultations had removed the Brotherhood from the pyramid of legitimacy, explaining that these agreements are considered legitimacy that was built on the consensus of all forces on the basis of parity between the south and the north.

The official in the Transitional Council indicated that the Brotherhood apparently accepted the consensus, but it is working from under the table to thwart this consensus by exchanging roles.

The southern academic, Dr. Fadl Al-Rubaie, warned against the attempt of some parties, meaning the Brotherhood, to exploit the results of the Riyadh consultations for empowerment at the expense of the sacrifices of the people of the south and their cause.

Al-Rubaie said that those who plan to take advantage of the results of the Riyadh consultations to enable them to bring about a change that goes beyond the sacrifices and cause of the people of the south, so easily, is delusional and has to reconsider, because it will never succeed.

The southern academic called on the Brotherhood to exploit the results of the Riyadh consultations in another way and not at the expense of the south.

The Brotherhood revealed their malicious intentions in the Hanoub through draft laws regulating the work of the Presidential Leadership Council prepared by a Brotherhood committee headed by Judge Hammoud Al-Hatar.

The military expert, Brigadier General Thabet Hussein Saleh, said that the legal manipulation by the Brotherhood's Al-Hitar Committee has a hidden goal, and comes in the context of the continuation of the approach of the forces that stood and resented the announcement of the transfer of power and the formation of the Presidential Leadership Council.

Saleh pointed out that the forces affected by the transfer of power are trying in various ways and means, including using the official media to create cracks and disagreements in the Presidential Leadership Council.

For his part, the southern journalist Abdel Qader Al-Qadi said that the Brotherhood is very persistent in directing its media to target the balanced relationship between the Southern Transitional Council and the Presidential Council.

Al-Qadi clarified that the relationship between the transitional and the presidential, although it seemed contradictory in various matters, all agreed that the Houthi is the enemy, while Islah insists that the transitional and the south are the enemy, forgetting about the Houthi issue and the file of the north at all.
