An attempt by Iranian sailors to smuggle narcotics to Al-Mahra thwarted

 Today, the Mahra police announced that they had thwarted an attempt by Iranian sailors to smuggle large quantities of dangerous narcotics to Yemen.

Al-Mahra Police said in a statement posted on its Facebook page that after careful monitoring and follow-up that lasted for nearly a month, the criminal investigation officers in Al-Mahra managed to seize a marine launch carrying six Iranian sailors who bring death to our country by exporting the most dangerous types of drugs.  Alum - crystal meth), which has been classified as the most lethal among the types of drugs

The statement stated that a seizure report was issued with samples of the seized materials, in the presence of Judge Hani Saleh Balhaf, the Deputy Public Prosecutor of Al-Ghaydah Primary, who directed the opening of records for collecting evidence against the arrested persons and seizing the means used in the process of bringing and transporting narcotics.

According to the statement, large quantities of this poisonous and dangerous scourge have already been seized during the past months, and those who brought it with Iranian nationality were referred, along with the seizures, to the specialized criminal prosecution in Hadumout.

The Director of Criminal Investigation in Al-Mahra, Colonel Ahmed Ali Rafeet, said that the security services are continuing and in an open battle with drug dealers and promoters, and that they will not hesitate to perform their duties.
