The Southern Transitional Council achieved a new victory at the level of political action, as is the case in the military victories it scored and recorded over the Houthi coup militia and the forces of terrorism and extremism.

The victory this time came from young cadres and was represented in the selection of the head of the General Department of Foreign Affairs in the Southern Transitional Council, Muhammad al-Ghaithi, as head of the Consultation and Reconciliation Commission of the Presidential Leadership Council, which includes 50 members of political, social and economic figures.

And Muhammad Abdullah Nasser Al-Ghaithi, born in January 1989 AD, Ain / Bayhan District - Shabwa Governorate. He obtained a bachelor’s degree in political science, the international relations track, with distinction with honors - United Arab Emirates University, and he studied at New York University of America (NYUAD) after winning the participation  In the scholarship program for the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, for outstanding students at the undergraduate level.

He is an activist and political writer with political articles published in the local, Gulf, Arab and international press. He participated in many political events. Despite this, he took up arms to participate in the Southern Giants Brigades in Operation Cyclone of the South to liberate Bihan districts  early this year.

Al-Ghaithi also had a role in establishing an external political and diplomatic arm for the Southern Transitional Council at the United Nations, the five permanent members of the Security Council, the European Union, and the Arab region, before he was appointed in June of last year as head of the General Department of Foreign Affairs in the transitional.

The decision to choose Al-Ghaithi as the head of the Consultation and Reconciliation Commission was praised by a number of officials, activists and politicians. The advisor to the Minister of Information, Fahd Al-Sharafi, blessed the recommendation and selection of Al-Ghaithi as the head of the Consultation and Reconciliation Commission, pointing out that he is a young southern leadership figure who has risen to fame in recent years in all fields, and is worthy of advice.  And qualified to lead all reconciliation efforts.

The Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Dr. Waed Badeeb, said of Al-Ghaithi that he is a wise, discreet, knowledgeable, loyal and diligent young man, expecting him to succeed in his mission.

In turn, the human rights activist, Tawfiq Bawazeer, indicated in a post on Twitter that the decision to appoint Al-Ghaithi came based on his experience and efficiency, which outperformed many, adding that Al-Ghaithi played political, administrative and diplomatic roles that strengthened the international presence of the southern cause, as he worked within the ranks of the military leaders to liberate Bayhan.

While journalist Rasha Jarhoum confirmed that the selection of young leaders, Professor Muhammad al-Ghaithi (Transitional) as president, and Judge Akram Nassib (Hadhramout al-Jami) as deputy of the Consultation and Reconciliation Commission was a successful decision, pointing out that we need new blood to lead the stage.

She added in another post, that the criteria for selecting the presidency of the commission were based on an attempt to reconcile between the south and the north, the representation of political and independent components, and the representation of women and youth.  And because the division is difficult, it was agreed that the presidency would be for the south and three deputies to be given to the north, stressing that Al-Ghaithi and Akram are among the finest youth of the south who raise their heads with their morals and experience.

As for lawyer Ali Nasser Al-Awlaki, he was surprised, in a blog post, by some media professionals residing in Cairo and Turkey’s hotels, denouncing the decision to appoint the young fighter, Muhammad Al-Ghaithi, as head of the Auxiliary Consultation and Reconciliation Authority of the Presidential Council, recalling that Al-Ghaithi took up his weapon and headed to Bihan to defend his land, while those fools fled, leaving  Their land is occupied.

While Dr. Omar Baabad confirmed in his tweet that the Southern Transitional Council has highly qualified youth cadres and weighs a country, pointing out that those who reduce the efficiency of Muhammad al-Ghaithi are people with small minds and have nothing of science and culture.

"Muhammad al-Ghaithi, with his intellect and morals, weighs a country," he said.
