Lutfi Shatara, a member of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, said that the Riyadh consultations are an opportunity for the southerners to come together and strengthen southern unity.
Shatara said, in a tweet to him on Twitter, that the Riyadh consultations are an opportunity for the southerners that may not be repeated, calling on the southerners of legitimacy to put their hand in the hand of the transitional, explaining that opportunities do not come twice.
He added that the south will only be with us, and Riyadh provided us with an opportunity, perhaps unintentionally, to consult with the transitional, to prove to the southern people that you are with him and that you are old.
The southern political activist, Fahd Al-Khulaifi, stressed that the south will only return in agreement with its surroundings and gain the trust of those whose geography imposed on us to be with them.
He pointed out that the "nationalist" bidders with revolutionary slogans to register the presence and gain popular sympathy are the ones who lost the south from 1967 by creating reckless conflicts with our Arab surroundings, explaining that the bidders are more dangerous to the southern cause than its enemies.
The southern politician, Ahmed Al-Saleh, said in a tweet to him on Twitter, that these accelerating events impose on the southerners, with their differences, cohesion and rapprochement, and the search for points of convergence and unification of vision.
He stressed that the faction that will retreat alone without alliances will simply be bypassed and will not achieve any political gains and will suffer from isolation, stressing that the issue is great.
The head of the Southern Transitional Council, Major General Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, appeared with the leaders of a number of southern components present in the Riyadh consultations.
The deputy of the Southern Dialogue Team, Ahmed Omar bin Farid, said that the meetings of the President of the Transitional Council, with some leaders of the southern components, come from the fruits of the process of the Southern National Dialogue, which was launched by the Transitional Council nearly two years ago.
Political activist Ali Nasser al-Awlaki explained that the most important gains that were achieved for the south during the Riyadh consultations are the meetings between the leaders of the Southern Transitional Council and southern figures, which suggest that there is a rapprochement, the beginning of reunification and blocking the way for those trying to tear the social fabric.
