The Ministry of Defense and the Chiefs of Staff mourn Major General Thabet Jawas

The Ministry of Defense and the Presidency of the General Staff mourned the Yemeni people, their leadership and their armed forces, Major General Thabet Muthanna Naji Jawas, commander of the Al-Anad axis, commander of the 131st Infantry Brigade, who was martyred on Wednesday evening, in a terrorist attack with a car bomb north of Aden.

The ministry said in a statement that Martyr Jawas was one of the loyal leaders who sacrificed their lives in the service of the country and had immortal and honorable positions in the face of the priesthood militia and the remnants of the Imamate and darkness throughout the stages and participated bravely in confronting the Houthi militia and its Iranian project in the governorate of Saada and stood valiantly in front of its expansionist plans.  Confronting rebellion and terrorism projects.. and he had great stops in the battle to restore the state and in leading the battle to liberate Aden Governorate and liberate other provinces from the terrorist Houthi militia.

Added: "Martyr Jawas was a brave leader and a brave fighter who stood with courage and steadfastness at the forefront of the ranks, and immortalized a history of struggle and sacrifice at various junctures."

And continued, "The nation lost, and the armed forces lost, with his martyrdom, one of its most prominent leaders and loyal men who never failed to perform their duty and spared no effort and time in serving the nation and confronting its enemies."

The leadership of the Ministry of Defense and the Presidency of the General Staff expressed their sincere condolences and great sympathy to the family and relatives of the martyr and his companions, to the political leadership and to all employees of the armed forces and all the Yemeni people.. We ask God Almighty to bless him with his vast forgiveness and mercy and to dwell in his vast gardens.
