Y Telecom joins (MTN) in an Omani partnership with the Houthi militias
English - Tuesday 22 March 2022 الساعة 02:53 pmThe terrorist Houthi militia - the Iranian arm in Yemen - is heading to attach the "Y" telecom company, to the new company it launched earlier this March, with an Omani cover.
Sources working in the "Y" telecom company told NewsYemen that influential Houthi leaders are planning to join the company to the so-called Yemen-Oman United Telecom Company (YOU Telecom) after it seized the first.
The sources added that the company will be listed under the Holding Company among other companies in an Omani Houthi partnership led by Houthi leaders.
The Houthi militia had seized the Y Telecom Company following the theatrical declaration of bankruptcy and then confiscated and operated it.
It also appointed a new board of directors for the company, including the leader Abdel Fattah al-Kibsi.
Recently, the group seized the MTN Communications Company, and Sabafon Company accepted it, which placed it under the supervision of the judicial guard and changed its board of directors, along with the two governmental companies, "Yemen Net" and "Yemen Mobile".
