Sana'a, NewsYemen, private:

Last Friday, the preachers of the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, were waging campaigns of infidelity, blasphemy, and threats to anyone who issued even slight criticism against the economic conditions in Sanaa and the militias’ control areas, especially criticisms related to the oil derivatives crisis.

The campaigns of militia preachers against every critic of the oil derivatives crisis coincided with leaks to the Houthi intelligence agency, which included allegations of a scheme to disturb the peace by exploiting the oil derivatives crisis, and also included a threat against those trying to destabilize the home front, as the leak said, which at the same time called on citizens to report any  Suspicious movements or activities on the number of the security apparatus.

Political sources described the Houthi campaigns of infidelity and the threats of their intelligence apparatus as a reaction that reflects the intense fears of the militia leaders due to the state of tension that citizens have reached in Sanaa and Houthi-controlled areas due to the aggravation of economic crises, and the crazy rise in the prices of all basic and non-essential commodities, not to mention the  The unprecedented crisis of oil derivatives and domestic gas, which points the finger of accusations at the Houthi leaders in the oil company subject to them of being behind fabricating it for political goals related to pressure on the United Nations and the Arab coalition to allow the ships of oil derivatives belonging to the militia leaders to enter through the port of Hodeidah, and at the same time preparing to announce a price dose  New special prices for petrol, diesel and gas.

The sources added to NewsYemen: The militias’ tendency appeared to announce a new dose through the new price of domestic gas, which increased the value of the “20” liter cylinder, which is distributed to citizens through the lanes, from “4700 riyals” to “5900 riyals,” an increase of more than “25%.”  Although the previous price of "4700 riyals" is basically a high price compared to the prices at which gas is purchased from the Safer Gas Company in Marib, the militias were quick to justify the price dose of gas as a result of the high gas prices by the Safer Gas Company in Marib, according to their allegations.

The sources continued by saying that the militias’ implementation of a price dose of gasoline and diesel became clear, which is confirmed by raising the price of a 20-liter cylinder of gasoline from 8500 riyals to 9900 riyals at the oil company’s stations run by the Houthi militias, and allowing other stations.  By raising its price from 11,200 to 13,500 and then to 16,500 riyals, the justification for this is that the oil company in Aden imposes sums on locomotives carrying oil derivatives to Sana’a, which will lead to an increase in their price in the market in Sana’a.

The Houthi militia, through the oil company under its control, carried out an intense media campaign through the various media outlets under its control, including SMS messages affiliated with the phone companies, which broadcast allegations of fees imposed by the oil company in Aden and claim that this will cause the prices of gasoline and diesel to rise in Sanaa, if available.

The sources pointed out that the campaigns of infidelity, treason and threats collectively constitute evidence of the militias implementing a proactive campaign that prepares people to accept any new price dose on the one hand, and on the other hand, creating justifications for carrying out any campaigns of violations and arrests against any reaction process that may be carried out by citizens who are now mocking the policies and corruption of the militias.  By comparing the current conditions with what they were in the days of the rule of former President Ali Abdullah Saleh, and even beyond, and linking the militias to the coup operation due to the dose that led to the increase in the price of gasoline by five hundred riyals, and the price it reached during the era of these militias by ten times its price.  Prior to the militia coup, at 23 times what it had been during the last period of the rule of former President Ali Abdullah Saleh.

The sources concluded by saying: that despite the lack of evidence that people could react to the price doses of oil and gas derivatives or to the size of the hikes related to the prices of all other commodities, the state of popular resentment reached its extent from the militias’ policies, which raises the latter’s fears of the possibility of  The situation explodes at any moment, and therefore it anticipates that with more campaigns of threats, treason and blasphemy
