Southern forces: Brotherhood militia provides a safe environment for Al-Qaeda in Abyan

The southern forces pledged to eradicate terrorism from Abyan Governorate (southern Yemen), pursue its cells, drop everything that is a cover for the movement of its elements, and re-deploy them in the south.
This came in a statement issued by the southern forces after the terrorist attack that targeted Abdul Latif Al-Sayed, the commander of the security belt forces in the Abyan Delta, with a car bomb.
The statement said that such cowardly terrorist crimes will only increase the southern forces' determination and firmness to eradicate terrorism and cleanse the south of the Muslim Brotherhood's plots.
The southern forces considered that the terrorist operation that targeted Brigadier General Al-Sayyid between the cities of Zanbar and Jaar proved the necessity of completing the complete eradication of terrorism that was exported to Abyan governorate.
It emphasized that eradicating terrorism mainly requires filling in the security gap that is widening every day in the districts and regions of Abyan, which are still under the control of Brotherhood militias and loyal military formations.
The southern forces stressed the necessity of exiting these militias and redeploying the Security Belt forces in the entire districts of Abyan, and this is what was stipulated in the Riyadh Agreement.
The statement pointed out that it is not possible to separate the growth of criminal terrorist activity from the safe environment and favorable conditions provided by the Brotherhood militias and their armed formations for terrorist groups in the areas under their control in the directorates of the central region of Abyan and in the Hadhramaut valley and desert.
