During the 7 years of its coup against power, the terrorist Houthi militia proved that it is nothing but a gang that plundered public and private resources, confiscated the livelihood of citizens, mediated over humanitarian aid, imposed illegal royalties and levies, practiced a policy of repression, humiliation and starvation, provoked crises, and established black markets to sell fuel and gas. In its areas of control, citizens were deprived of their most basic rights, at a time when the militia leaders lived in luxury and a luxurious life after the militia worked to form a new class of wealth for its leaders and reaping huge sums of money from the pockets of citizens, while the general people live in difficult living and humanitarian conditions.
The living and humanitarian conditions of citizens in the militia-controlled areas are deteriorating, with the manifestations of obscene wealth emerging on the leaders of the terrorist group, which led to a state of popular ferment that warns of an imminent revolution that will uproot this Houthi epidemic that Iran has planted in Yemen, after the citizens are fed up and fed up with these practices. During the past few days, the Houthi gang spread widely, in a number of streets of Sanaa and other cities under the control of the Iranian-backed militia, against the Houthis and their policy of impoverishment and starvation and demanding their departure, in messages that revealed the extent of the rejection of the policy of oppression and subjugation practiced by the militia against citizens.
The areas under the control of the coup militia have been experiencing for months a stifling crisis of oil derivatives and household gas, accompanied by a rise in the prices of foodstuffs and other commodities, and the price of a tank of gasoline on the black market run by Houthi leaders reached 40,000 riyals, while the price of a gas cylinder reached about 20,000 riyals.
The militia recently approved a new price dose in fuel prices, which it began implementing in its areas of control, starting from Friday, March 11, 2022, as it approved the new price of gasoline at an amount of 16,000 riyals for a 20-liter tank in commercial stations instead of 13,500 riyals, the price it had previously approved.
The Houthi militia created a stifling crisis in domestic gas, and the domestic gas cylinder became out of reach in its areas of control, after it raised its price on the black market. A few days ago, the coup militia invented a new means of blackmail that it imposed on the citizens in the areas under its control, where the citizens exchanged their support for money in return for handing them their share of domestic gas. The grand celebration of the seventh anniversary of what it calls “resilience in the face of American aggression” (the anniversary of the launch of the Decisive Storm to support the legitimate government, which was launched on March 26, 2015) and linking the residents’ access to domestic gas cylinders to the payment of these donations through the agal of the neighborhoods that were assigned the process of distributing the conditions and household gas.
The state of resentment and public rejection against the Houthis is accompanied by a state of popular awareness of the danger of the Iranian project in Yemen, and this is what made the Tehran-backed militia recently wished for an abject failure to mobilize more fighters in Sanaa, following the recruitment campaign it launched a few days ago, in order to attract fighters. New, as it was met with great reluctance and disregard among the population in several neighborhoods in Sana’a, affiliated with the directorates: Al-Safia, Al-Sabeen, Al-Wehda, Al-Thawra, Ma’in, and Al-Tahrir. In the midst of the Houthis' futile wars, they were killed, and lifeless bodies returned to their families.
