Hadi continues to tamper with the fate of Yemenis

Late last month, President Hadi completed a full decade - ten years - in the rule brought to him by necessity and fears of war in 2011 between Saleh and his opponents, so that Hadi's name emerged as a consensual solution to manage a transitional phase, in a mission that does not exceed two years, according to the Gulf initiative.
However, these two years exceeded the decade, with the possibility of extending to a second decade with the continuation of the war, which enters its eighth year this month, the war that was prevented from being one of the most important reasons for Hadi’s coming to power, turned into the most important reasons for him staying there and even the difficulty of getting rid of him or searching for a replacement for him.
Despite the prevailing conviction among the Yemeni parties to hold the Houthi group alone fully responsible for the outbreak of the war to impose its project by force on the Yemenis, the conviction of a wide sector of Yemenis and political forces confirms that Hadi and his absurd management of government is the main reason for prolonging the war and not resolving it in the face of the Houthi militia.
With the first months of the war in 2015, voices began to appear criticizing the performance of the legitimacy leadership and its handling of the war file and the rest of the political and economic files, and the absence of any clear vision of the military path on the one hand, and the path of restoring state institutions and normalizing the situation in the liberated areas on the other hand.
These criticisms, which turned with time into warnings, did not find an echo in the leadership of legitimacy, specifically President Hadi, who surrounded himself with a network of interests consisting of his sons, relatives, his deputy, Ali Mohsen al-Ahmar, and the Brotherhood behind them, running the government instead of him, prolonging his stay and staying with him in power, and preventing any attempts to end this mess.
During the past war years, political parties, led by the forces of the Nasserist and socialist left, presented initiatives and visions to fix the defect in the legitimacy system and correct their performance to save the situation militarily and economically, but their fate was ignored by Hadi and his surrounding regime.
According to well-informed political sources, a new attempt was made by political parties and forces supporting legitimacy during their meeting with Hadi at the beginning of this month. During the meeting, they presented him with a brief vision to correct the performance of legitimacy, but the man completely ignored it, and even portrayed the meeting as an endorsement for him, according to the contents of the news Which was published by the official "Saba" agency about the meeting.
The sources indicated that the contents of the news completely ignored the reference to the vision presented by the political parties and forces. The news also included veiled threatening messages contained in Hadi’s statement in which he indicated that they are partners in managing the state through their representation and presence in the government and the various joints of the state, which means holding them responsible for the deteriorating conditions in the liberated areas.
The vision presented by the parties included several points, the most important of which is the development of the relationship with the coalition by finding a joint mechanism for evaluation in various military, political and economic fields in a way that enhances confidence, and the adoption of a single window for support through the government and state institutions.
The vision called for working to tip the balance of military power in favor of legitimacy, fixing imbalances in military units, holding negligent people accountable, and ending the phenomenon of multiple military formations by merging them under the Ministries of Defense and Interior, while providing for their needs, and on top of that, regular payment of salaries to its members.
The vision called for controlling the revenue institutions, and obligating the governors of the governorates to collect all resources to the government's account in the central bank, while enabling the bank to control the banking sector in accordance with the law.
The matrix also stressed carrying out reforms in various government institutions and agencies, activating the state's control bodies concerned with combating corruption, reviewing decisions issued in the previous period, and canceling what was issued in violation of legal standards.
The parties demanded reducing the number of workers in diplomatic missions, reforming and activating the diplomatic corps to carry out its duties in mobilizing international support and backing for legitimacy, exposing the Houthi militia, and giving more attention to missions in the international resolution.
While the vision called for the completion of the implementation of the Riyadh Agreement with all its provisions, especially the security and military aspect, the vision of the parties called for opening channels of communication with all anti-coup components in order to achieve recognition of legitimacy and work under its roof, with the aim of uniting efforts to restore the state and end the coup.
