Bus passengers in Ibb to a Houthi leader: You are agents of Iran, and your claims about pride and dignity are exposed by hunger and poverty

Ibb, NewsYemen, private:

Engineer Saleh, who is from Ibb governorate, was riding a bus on his way from the city of Ibb to his hometown at the base when the bus stopped on the side of the road to board a passenger, who later turned out to be one of the militants of the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, where he was carrying  A gun on his back, and a phone in his hand with which he talks with it.

After the Houthi gunman completed his speech on the phone and sat in his seat inside the bus, he greeted the passengers and began to greet them and say to them: (How are you, men, father, I testify that you are one of the best sons of Yemen that is steadfast in the face of America and Israel... We are in the month of March and there are days left for the memory of  The time of steadfastness...God bless you for your participation in the sit-ins and support for the fronts and convoys that are arranged on this occasion)..

Engineer Saleh added while telling a NewsYemen delegate the story he lived that day: After the Houthi gunman finished his speech, he turned to the passengers, and one of them responded:  ... The Yemenis are the ones who die either on the front lines or through starvation and arrogance).

And he continues: At that time, the Al-Houthi armed man turned and was angry with the person who responded to him and said to him: “We gave you freedom, independence, sovereignty, pride and dignity, and before the Quranic march (a term they call the Houthi militia movement) America was occupying Yemen and its ambassador was ruling our country and doing what he wanted and we were expelled  The Americans and now we are fighting them everywhere, they and Israel."

The response that came from another passenger, according to Hajj Muhammad, was shocking to the Houthi gunman, who later turned out to be one of the militia’s Preventive Security officers in Al-Qaeda city and that he belongs to the governorate of Saada.  Sovereignty, independence, and our country are placed under Chapter VII by the Security Council, and we are not able to enter even a tank of oil or a gas cylinder without a UN permit and a permit from the coalition).

The passenger adds, while laying bare the lies of the Houthi leader: (As for the honor and dignity that you claim, take it from me and give me a salary and a job with which to satiate my seven children who are no longer able to provide for them a living, teach them, or treat them if they fall ill.  He spoke to me about honor and dignity. There is no dignity for the hungry, no pride for a citizen who steals his salary while he is not even able to claim it, and there is no freedom for a citizen who does not obtain a gas cylinder until his dignity is diminished by the sane in the neighborhood, and he is unable to fill his car with an oil bear).

That response angered the Houthi leader, who rushed to attack the passenger and accuse him, as all members of the Houthi militia do: You are a mercenary, traitor, and agent of the coalition, America and Israel.

Engineer Saleh continues recounting the events of that day: While the passengers expected the Houthi leader’s response to cause the passenger’s fear, the opposite was what happened as that passenger was quick to say: This is a broken cylinder and we have known it from you for seven years, and the truth is that you are the traitors and agents of Iran, where you sold Yemen  And you sold your Arabism in exchange for money and weapons that Iran gives you in exchange for killing Yemenis and attacking its Arab neighbors.  It was at that time. In addition to your priests, you follow Iran and its Shiite sectarian and political system and implement its agendas and make claims about sovereignty and independence.

He continues: We are no longer afraid of you... What are you doing to us.. Imprison us.. Imprison us and do whatever you want. We are prisoners in our country.. and poor people in our homeland... We have neither freedom nor dignity under your sectarian militia rule that is dependent on Iran.

Engineer Saleh continues to NewsYemen: We expected that the dispute would escalate between the passenger and the Houthi leader, but what was interesting was that the anger of that passenger, whose face seemed despair of life, was ready to engage in a fight with the Houthi leader, who then became silent before he stopped the bus and got off from him while looking towards that passenger with a look.  Filled with malice, hatred and at the same time fear.

Engineer Saleh, who was an employee of the Roads Maintenance Fund before he was expelled by the Houthi militia and replaced by one of its members, and was satisfied with appointing him as an adviser, concludes by saying: To the Secretariat, what happened on the bus was an indication of the anger and resentment among the people of the Houthi militia and its actions.  Looting and theft of employees’ salaries and people’s money, and its practices and violations of their freedoms and rights, and the abusive measures it implements in every violator or opponent of it, from his arrest to his trial and the confiscation of his property in a blatant manner that Yemen has never witnessed in its contemporary history, but the position of that passenger was a guarantee that  He tells everyone that no matter how silent people are for fear of oppression and force, as soon as they find the opportunity, they will not have mercy on their executioners and will uproot them from their chairs.  No one can predict what will be the fate of the oppressors, looters and corrupt Houthi militias who rule Sanaa and some provinces today since their coup in September 2014.
