Sana'a, NewsYemen:

The terrorist Houthi militia prevented farmers in their areas of control from bringing quantities of oil derivatives into Sanaa governorate, which they bought from the legitimate government areas, to irrigate their farms.

A widely circulated video recording on social media platforms showed Houthi militia members stopping a farmer at a checkpoint and unloading large quantities of diesel on the ground.

The farmer was returning to his area in Sanaa governorate, when Houthi gunmen stopped his car at the point, got on board and poured a large diesel barrel on the ground.

The Houthi militia stipulated a large illegal sum of money in exchange for allowing the farmer to enter diesel, but he was unable to pay the amount to return the militia by destroying the quantity that he had bought arbitrarily.

The video sparked outrage among the pioneers of social networking sites, who considered it another confirmation of the extent of the arrogance practiced by the Houthi terrorist militia against Yemenis in its areas of influence.

The Houthi militia created an unprecedented crisis in oil derivatives in Sanaa, where the price of a 20-liter of gasoline on the Houthi black market reached 50,000 riyals, while the price of a domestic gas cylinder exceeded the 20,000 mark.

And in recent weeks, popular anger against the terrorist Houthi militia in Sanaa has reached an unprecedented degree, due to its violations against the population, and the catastrophic conditions it has produced in its areas of control in northern Yemen.

The ferment took a more visible turn, after the spread of murals in the streets of Sanaa and Ibb demanding the departure of the Houthis, against the background of the policy of looting, starvation and organized impoverishment they practice against Yemenis.
